I'm such a widescreen whore lol

well i hope dvelopers develop games with widescreen in mind, or atleast throw in a patch for widescreen

I prey to god that "Command & Conquer 3" and "Supreme Commander" support widescreen. i would be so bumed out if they dont!

and last, why is it that widescreens on PC adopted 16:10 and not 16:9 like TVs/LCDs/Plasmas....and so on?

There are 16:9 & 16:10 WS's.

i know, im just saying 16:10 is the more common and is the standard for PC screens as opposed to 16:9.

Hey guys,

Is this "hack" like the BF2 widescreen fix where all it really does is stretch the game to the resolution you want it at?

It is a full fix ... however ... the latest Patch ... 1.08 adds widescreen support to the game ...

Nice. I'm moving this wednesday and I'll be using the monitor I've been using (stuck at max 800x600). So, I'll be hooking my pc up to my hdtv (max 1080i). I'll update to 1.08 before I move, losing internet access until I get it installed, so I have osmething to do for the 5 straight days I'll be off from work!!!

Well, nix that plan. After the freaking 660mb patch to 1.08, it won't load. I seem to remember it doing this last time I had it installed too. Anyone know why suddenly it won't work? Have you guys had the same problem?

Last time, I reinstalled and left it a 1.00 and I played through, but didn't beat, it.

Maybe update directx? My drivers are up to date as I had to reinstall my vid card about a month ago.
