Hi guys and gals,
This is my first post here and I am not sure of the format for posting and stuff but I felt i just had to share this info that I got from Massgate support.
At 3840x1024 you cannot spawn on the Seaside SP map unless you change resolution OR:

Solution Text:
"Ok, here is a te
mp solution for you:
In your My Documents\World in Conflict folder you create a txt file and name it wicautoexec.txt. You can right-click in the folder and select "New" to create a text file.
Open it and paste the following:
bind p camerahighfov 130
bind release+p camerahighfov 73
Where "p" is any free key.
When in the mega-map you just press the key and you will get a much bigger field of view.
If you press the key when not in the mega-map you will get a field of view that may be interesting to use with that setup you have. You may like it!
If you enter the following in the autoexec file instead the key will act as a toggle.
bind p HighFovOn
alias HighFovOn camerahighfov 130; bind p HighFovOff
alias HighFovOff camerahighfov 73; bind p HighFovOn
Good luck and let us know how things go."
Have fun!!!

dopefish ...
Could you not post the solution for 16:9, 16:10 and 5:4 in the ... Request/Discuss Widescreen Solutions - PC ... section or even ... Widescreen Confirmed Solutions - PC ...
It is a little out of place in the ... Surround Discussion & Solutions section.

It is about keeping things tidy ... we don't want lots of people posting questions about Widescreen issues in the Surround section and vice versa ... it will just get confusing for newcomers ...
It is best to keep them separate ...

Honestly I can't see in this day and age why devs are refusing to add in widescreen support on all of these new games! I thought vista certification required WS support? Apparently not. Bioshock, MOHA, WIC, and many others yet to come out no doubt have no direct support for WS and I think it's just ridiculous. It's either lazy coding or poor planning and no insight, neither of which are good excuses. If MOHA doesn't have WS support then I have to assume that any game that uses the Unreal3 engine won't have it either which is just plain sad. At least the crysis demo has WS support. Runs like a 2 legged dog but at least the support is there.

Let's hope so. An "oversight" as you say is still pretty unacceptable coming from people that are supposed to know the business and hardware trends. Considering that most dev teams have dozens of people working on these projects and not one of them thought to add in WS support it tells me that none of them are really that into what they do. It really is inexcusable. It's like a car manufacturer making a nice luxury car and then forgetting to install the air conditioning. "It was an oversight maaan"...umm I don't think so.
Sorry to rant, but there are some devs out there that really need to take a more professional approach to their projects and making sure they do a little planning and verify that they cross their T's and dot their I's.
