Become an Insider
The WSGF is now offering a "premium" account package for people who are singled out as strong supporters and contributors. High post counts aren't the only thing that gets you nominated or approved. It is a combination of attitude, knowledge and activity on the forums.
Additionally you can be nominated by providing "User Generated Content" to the WSGF. To become an Insider through content, you need to total four "points" worth of content, from the list below:
- User Review of a Monitor (2 points)
- Detailed Report (1 point each)
- Game Review (1 point each)
- WS/TH gameplay or comparison video (4 points)
- WS/TH wallpapers (1 point per five walls)
Please note that we welcome multiple reviews, of both hardware and games. If your monitor or game already has a review, please feel free to post your own opinion.
Benefits of Membership
Access to the Lounge
A members-only area to converse with other supporters. A great place for getting to know many core members better. While still far from vulgar, illicit or explicit, the conversations in the Lounge can include more "mature" material than allowed in the general forums.
Custom Widescreen Avatar
Get a custom widescreen avatar by ctrlsteef, and have it hosted by the WSGF.
Member Profile
The Wiki offers a profile page for every editor. Use this to allow everyone to get a better understand of who you are, and your interests. This is the perfect place to "pimp" your favorite interests/hobbies/bands/sites.
Special Contests
Insiders get the ability to enter into Insider-specific contests. It's a much smaller pool of entrants, so the chances of winning are better.
