Turn-based strategy games are strategy games where the action unfolds in well-defined iterations. Typically, turns alternate between players, and action does not occur until the turn's player commits to an action, allowing time for analysis and thought. Alternatively, a turn-based game may require all players to commit to an action, and when they do, the actions occur simultaneously.
