Welcome to the Essential Games List. This page is a subset of 50 (or so) games out of more than 500 listed in the full Master Game List (MGL). The MGL is the complete listing of every game that has been tested for widescreen compatibility, by members of the WSGF.
The games on this particular page represent a cross-section of games that are either currently popular or standing favorites. If the game you are interested in is not listed here, click here (or on one of the letters or categories below) to browse the full Master Games List.
This is our list of games that we have researched and detailed. New and/or notable games are listed in the top table, while older games that never really garnered public attention are in the table below it.
