Full (Multiplayer support)

Definition

A game with "Full" widescreen multiplayer support is a game where the method for making the singleplayer mode hor + will always work for multiplayer mode, and there is no way for a server to prevent players from using it. This is usually the case for games where enabling hor + does not require FOV adjustments.

This definition also applies to games that lack singleplayer modes, and games where the singleplayer mode lacks a method for making it hor +.

Examples

All multiplayer games that use the Half-Life 2 engine, such as Counter-Strike: Source, are hor + just by using a widescreen resolution. There are no server settings that can prevent this.
